wELCOME TO RALLVILLE'S MONSTER BASH |
This site is devoted to our annual Halloween party known as the "Monster Bash". The first bash was in 1995. We had about 10 people there that year. Last year we had about 40 people at the bash. This year we're planning on at least 50. The first few years was trial and error. Our 1st year we spent way more money than we wanted. We splurged for everything; the decorations (of course), the food, the drinks and the supplies. The 2nd year we began asking each of our guests to bring one of their favorite dishes. That helped keep the costs down greatly and there was a wider selection of food to choose from. In year 3, we collected $1.00 from everyone for the prize cauldron. It seemed like a good idea but it didn't work out very well. In year 4 we started doing 50/50's in addition to the 1st and 2nd prizes. That has worked out well. Year 5 was the best, we had just the right element put together perfectly. It was a total success! Not that any of the bashes were bad. Stay tuned for updates on The Monster Bash 2000! |
